![]() Unfortunately because of this similarity I will probably not read the rest of the series as it comes out. I love the Lux series, but I was really hoping this spin off would be like her other series (the Covenant series, the Titan series, the Harbinger series, etc.) or even the other spin off book she has for the Lux series (Obession), where all of her characters have their own personalities and characteristics that make them so amazing and relate-able. Luc had his own characteristics when he was staring in the Lux series, and some of those came into this new series, but a lot of how he acted, and how Evie acted, was SO SIMILAR to Daemon and Katy it was hard to read sometimes. ![]() Being that I HAVE read the Lux series there were just too many similarities between Daemon and Katy and Luc and Evie. ![]() The only downfall I would say this book has to it are the characters themselves. There weren't any slow times in the book where it drags on and the story line keeps you engaged at all times! And boy did Jennifer deliver!
